Burst Upgrades Video Replay Control System at American Airlines Center in Dallas: New system to support state-of-the-art LightHouse video boards
07/21/09 |
July 21, 2009 - Denver, CO –Burst announced today that it scored a contract to upgrade the video replay control room at American Airlines Center in Dallas. Burst expects to complete the fast track project in about 90 days, just in time for the Visa Championships, the first event to showcase the facility’s brand-new HD video boards also being installed this summer.
With a limited budget, Burst is bringing to bare the vast experience and knowledge of its sales and engineering staffs to design, build, test, and commission the new system, as well as to provide most of the new equipment.
Burst will incorporate existing SD digital and analog routing systems with a new Harris Platinum HD switcher, along with Evertz and aja Video conversion and distribution equipment, to completely rebuild the video infrastructure and provide the hybrid facility the client requires.
Rounding out the system will be a new Sony MVS-8000G production switcher, Chyron HyperX3 and Click Effects graphics, along with existing HD EVS and Leitch servers, Sony cameras, and a new monitoring and tally system from Harris/Zandar and Image Video.
Burst designed and built the original facility in 2001. “Our continuing involvement reflects a commitment to excellence by our customer and our organization,” said Barry Samuels, sales engineer at Burst’s Dallas office.
