Burst Completes TV Studio System Upgrade at Truman State University
02/13/09 |
February 13, 2008 - Denver, CO – Burst completed a digital upgrade to the television studio and production and master control systems at Truman State University’s student-run television station, KTRM-News 36, which includes interconnections to KTRM-FM and numerous classrooms in Barnett Hall.
The facility was constructed in the Barnett Hall Building at the University’s Kirksville, Missouri, campus.
KTRM-News 36 is part of the Truman Media Network, which also includes two campus radio stations, KTRM and KKTR, which broadcast hybrid IBOC signals, and a student newspaper. Students manage current day-to-day operations at KTRM-News 36, which broadcasts on campus 24/7, and oversight is provided by professors. As a result of the upgrade, wider content distribution is possible.
