Burst Communications to Design and Build the Video Replay System at the New American Airlines Center in Dallas
07/24/01 |
DALLAS, TX, July 24, 2001 –– Burst Communications, Inc. was just chosen by Center Operating Company as the professional broadcast systems integrator to design, build and supply all equipment for the video replay control system at the new American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. This project includes industry standard production tools and an upgrade-adaptable infrastructure. Though there will be cable interfaces throughout the facility, the new system will be fully self-contained.
This project is valued at approximately $1 million, and will be completed in time to meet the fall schedules for both the Dallas Mavericks (NBA) and the Stars (NHL) franchises. The system was designed to maximize the functionality of the new scoreboard display system that will be installed into this world-class arena. This fully digital system will meet clients’ needs for years to come.
“As an experienced company with many similar projects to its credit, this job is perfect for Burst Communications,” says Barry Samuels, Broadcast Sales Engineer in Dallas. “We have the experience and expertise to create an outstanding facility for the American Airlines Center.”
