Burst to Upgrade KAZT-TV’s Digital Facility

May 23, 2008 – Denver, CO –Burst announced today that it was awarded a contract to upgrade KAZT-TV’s digital facility, providing the infrastructure changes necessary for the station’s migration to HD content. The upgrade will provide a streamlined process for the file transfer of spot and syndicated content into a larger server, and new station automation will provide on air playback with increased capabilities of satellite scheduling and acquisition on server and tape.
The project involves replacing the existing routing and master control switchers and the installation of new server equipment and a high definition up-converter with noise reduction for better HD quality. KAZT-TV is located in Phoenix (Prescott), Arizona.
The project will commence in summer of 2008.
