Burst Gets Green Light to Upgrade Two Idaho Public Television Stations

May 13, 2008 – Denver, CO –Burst announced today that Idaho Public Television (IdahoPTV) has chosen this Denver-based systems integrator to upgrade the production control rooms at KUID-TV and KISU-TV. Burst will be involved with equipment procurement and integration at two separate university campus environments: KUID-TV is located on the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, Idaho and serves northern Idaho, and KISU-TV is located at Idaho State University in Pocatello, and serves eastern Idaho, including Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and the surrounding area.
The forthcoming HD digital control rooms are the first phase of a multi-year project that will impact equipment and facilities statewide; including field and editing, studio production facilities, internet-related content and delivery, transmitters and repeaters and network operations center upgrades relating to the federal mandate and public trust for digital television.
The project will commence Summer 2008.
