When Kirk Basefsky and Robin Heywood founded Burst in 1991, they were
enthusiastic about becoming a professional video and broadcast equipment
dealer that put the customer's needs before the sale. In doing so, they
blazed a new trail in selling solutions first, product second. Nearly
a decade later, the partners realized they could better serve their clients
by providing systems and integration solutions, too. In early 2000, Basefsly
and Heywood expanded operations to offer a more complete service and
fulfill the increased demand for systems integration.
Today, Basefsky and Heywood oversee a sizeable company with headquarters
in Denver, Colorado and offices across the West. Their staff is comprised
of experienced, knowledgeable people who enjoy their work and aren't
afraid to show it. Burst's sales engineers average 18 years in the industry
and are extremely knowledgeable on the subject of cutting edge technology.
